More than 20,000 people are expected in downtown Jacksonville this weekend as the city hosts five major events geared toward families and sports fans. The First Coast Kids Triathlon, the World of Nations Celebration, YMCA Kids Day, Art in the Park at Hemming Park, and the Jacksonville Armada soccer match will all be drawing in crowds. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Florida Department of Transportation ask those heading downtown to plan accordingly and allow extra time. JTA is also offering free skyway rides on Saturday from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.
